Faith Under Siege: New Documentary Sheds Light on Persecution of Evangelicals in Ukraine
CBN recently did a feature on a new documentary, A Faith Under Siege, that is exposing the severe persecution of evangelical Christians in Ukraine amidst the ongoing war with Russia. While much of the global focus has been on the military conflict, this film brings attention to the religious oppression that has largely gone unnoticed in the West.
The documentary features firsthand accounts from pastors, aid workers, and believers who have suffered under Russian occupation—some captured, tortured, or forced to flee for their faith. Executive producer Colby Barrett explains that evangelicals, known for their loyalty to Christ over political leaders, are seen as a threat to Kremlin control.
Beyond revealing war crimes, A Faith Under Siege serves as a call to action for Christians worldwide to pray, raise awareness, and host screenings to support persecuted believers in Ukraine.
